Welcome back to a new half term in Nursery!
We look forward to spending time with your children and enjoying their learning through play. The children now have access to 2 different classrooms and a shared outdoor area. We have now got our new outdoor area with running tracks and all weather turf.
Our Topic This Half Term is...
This half term we will be looking at the life cycles of plants, animals and humans. Our learning will focus around 5 key questions;
What conditions does a seed need to grow?
What are the stages of the life cycle of a butterfly?
What are the stages of the life cycle of a hen?
What are the stages of the life cycle of a human?
Which stages are similar and which are different?
In maths we will be focusing on making sure all children can count to 10 and beyond with increasing accuracy. We will be looking at patterns and the children will be ordering and representing patterns using a variety of objects including 2-d shapes.
