To last for 60 minutes:

Begin by watching the Jolly Phonics Songs on YouTube. The children should join in with the songs and actions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_s-1sxzjPX8&safe=active

Play the three games in the order below. It will follow a similar structure to our lessons on Zoom.

1) Flash Cards Speed Trial (after pressing start select pick individual graphemes and select all for Phase 2 set 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and phase 3 set 6 and 7):

 If the links do not work, go onto the website, click on the ‘Resources’ tab at the top of the screen, click on ‘Phase 2’ and find the correct games underneath.

Now, practise reading and writing the Phase 2 Tricky words Letter formation worksheet (I, the, to, no, go) again.

2. Go on a scavenger hunt around your house for pre-hidden tricky word flashcards. Don’t forget to tick them off your Scavenger hunt checklist once found. 
3. Complete the phase 2 tricky word spotter story activity.

4. Challenge your child to write them in a sentence e.g.
I will go to the shop.
The shop had no jam.

Learning ObjectiveTo further develop and refine a range of ball skills including - throwing, catching, kicking, passing, batting, and aiming.

1. Continue from last week and follow the instructions: Seven Ball Games-Activities for Throwing and catching. Remind children when catching to keep their eyes open, to have their eyes looking at the ball and person throwing it and to have their hands out ready with soft fingers rather than stretched out and tense fingers.
