REMOTE LEARNING - WHEN ISOLATING

Welcome to the Acorns Class learning zone.  

If your child needs to self-isolate, when you contact us, we will email the weekly overview of the learning taking place in class.  (In the event of a class bubble needing to self-isolate, we will use Class Dojo to provide the learning.)

Here, you will find additional resources to support your child's learning whist at home.

Remember, it is important in Reception to spend valuable time playing together, exploring, creating and sharing daily life experiences.  So, bake those cakes, write the shopping list together or count the pegs in the basket.  And talk about what you're doing together.

Phonics
Try to do a phonics session each day just like we do in school.

Reading
Our school target is at least three reads per week, but everyday is just perfect!

Maths
10-15 minutes of White Rose Maths per day. Plus lots of Maths when playing and exploring - counting, sorting, ordering, etc
