1) Watch video.
2) Complete the activity. If you do not have a match box, use a container/box of your choice (download from the ‘Get the activity’ tab to the right hand side of the video).

  1. Discuss yesterday’s lesson.
  2. Look through the same images:  Antarctic scenery posters and igloo images
  3. Re-read list of what I will need written yesterday.
  4. Write certain words in a sentence. Examples:
    - I will need a hat.        (your child may write it how it sounds e.g. I will nid a hat.)
    - I need to take some gloves.      (your child may write it how it sounds e.g. I nid to tek sum gluvs.)

REMIND your child to segment and blend, use finger spaces and a full stop. Try to encourage them to write on their own. You can show them how to spell the TRICKY WORDS: I, the, to, no, go
